Joe Leverich is President of The Leverich Group. He has worked with business clients for over 30 years on growth strategies and tackling challenges head-on. His energy and insight into difficult business issues are effective in helping companies ascend to the next level. Joe's no nonsense style allows him to push right through to the issues that get in the way of a company's success. He is skilled at asking the right questions to get to the bottom of concerns and is effective at removing the roadblocks that get in the way of your company's progress. He oversees a team that supervises audits, reviews, and compilations for over 100 clients, and is a consultant on management issues, financial matters, and estate and retirement planning.
Joe is a certified coach with Gazelles International and has implemented the strategic planning principles found in "Mastering the Rockefeller Habits" in his own company and has assisted other business owners with their companies.
Joe has worked closely with business owners in developing and building their companies. One was a business products office dealer who grew from four business lines, one office and 8 employees, to over 35 business lines with offices in three states, and in excess of 150 employees.
Another was a construction company that Joe assisted in developing and implementing business plans that grew from $14 Million with thirty employees to over $280 Million and 300 full time employees. Joe has worked with clients in construction, medicine, engineering, manufacturing, sales, retail, and finance, and has developed many successful strategies to deal with the most difficult owner challenges.
Joe has spearheaded several successful projects over his career. One is the Construction Industry Compensation Report, a useful reference tool to assist contractors in benchmarking their companies’ utilization of labor to make improvements. Another is writing a monthly column for Salt Lake Business newspaper, The Enterprise.
Joe received his degree in accounting from the University of Utah, received CPA certification in the States of Utah and Wyoming, recently attended Harvard Business School as part of the Owner/President/Manger Group and has owned multiple businesses. Joe is continually learning and loves a challenge.
Steve Scoggan

Steve Scoggan, a partner at The Leverich Group, has been with the firm since 1995. He provides accounting, tax and management consulting services. He has extensive hands-on experience in coaching and assisting owners in dealing with complex accounting, management, organization, personnel and motivational challenges.
Steve’s specialty is helping companies deal with the issues and details related to growth. One of his clients was a start-up construction company that grew to $20 million in revenue and 150 employees in less than eight years. He assisted company management with tax planning, banking and bonding, as well as assisting in the training of company financial personnel.
Steve enjoys the dynamics of small and medium size businesses, and has experience helping clients obtain credit, plan for succession, or prepare for sale.
Prior to joining the firm, Steve co-owned and managed a family multi-operation business. Steve graduated with honors from California State University, Los Angeles with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting option. Steve gained experience with a large national CPA firm in Los Angeles and New York City, and received CPA certification in the State of New York. Steve resides in Park City, Utah.
